From A Different Perspective

I have tried for days, weeks, and months to let go but I can’t seem to be able to do so. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss you. I’m glad I got to see you once more. I felt enchanted by your beauty. I was only able to see you for such a short amount of time. But being able to hear your angelic voice for a while was enough to leave me breathless, speechless. Maybe we couldn’t be more than friends, maybe we could but the timing was off. But if all I can be is your friend, I’d be more than glad to. Just know that I’ll always be there for you.
